Our Mission

The mission of the USASOC Emergency Management office is to provide an integrated, comprehensive emergency management program for the soldiers, families, and civilians of the USASOC Community. It is the primary advisor to the USASOC Commander for all Emergency Management-related policies and procedures, and is responsible for the preparedness, training, and coordination of emergency response and recovery efforts to the USASOC enterprise.

About Us

The USASOC Community Preparedness Program educates family members about disaster preparedness for the hazards that may impact their area, and aids in basic disaster planning and preparedness skills. Make a plan today. Your family may not be together if a disaster strikes, so it is important to know which types of disasters could affect your area. Know how you will contact one another and reconnect if separated. Know how to get emergency alerts, and establish a family meeting place that is familiar and easy to find. Make sure to practice your plan often. There are many ways to get involved, especially before an emergency or a disaster occurs. The content found on this page will give you some ideas of how you can prepare for a disaster before a disaster strikes.
