MEDIA ADVISORY: 75th Rangers celebrates 30th anniversary
FORT BENNING, Ga. (USASOC News Service, Sept. 24, 2014) – The 75th Ranger Regiment is scheduled to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the activation of the Regiment Oct. 3, at 9 a.m.
The ceremony, which will be held at the Ranger Memorial, starts with an airborne demonstration to include military free fall and a fast rope insertion and extraction demonstration.
During the ceremony, honors will be made to the Rangers who have sacrificed their lives in defense of our country, a pedestal honoring the Rangers who have served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom will be dedicated as well as rededication of the Chief of Staff of the Army’s Charters to the 75th Ranger Regiment.
