MEDIA ADVISORY: 95th change of command

U.S. Army Special Operations Command Public Affairs

FORT BRAGG, N.C. (USASOC News Service, June 4, 2014) – The 95th Civil Affairs Brigade (Airborne) will hold a change of command ceremony June 5, at 9 a.m. on Meadows Parade Field at the U.S. Army Special Operations Command headquarters.

Col. James C. Brown will relinquish command to Col. Scot N. Storey in a traditional Army ceremony.
Storey is taking command following an assignment as director of Operations, Special Operations Command Africa, in Stuttgart, Germany.    

Host for the ceremony is Lt. Gen. Charles T. Cleveland, commanding general of the U.S. Army Special Operations Command.

FOR THE MEDIA: Media wishing to cover the change of command ceremony must contact the USASOC Public Affairs Officeat 910-432-6005 by 3 p.m., June 4. Media should provide after-hours contact information, to include email addresses, in case of any changes to the program schedule.

Please provide the number of news team members, video/still photographers, live-feed trucks and other special equipment you plan to bring to the ceremony. Special needs or interview requests should be submitted at this time as well.

Media should meet representatives from the USASOC Public Affairs office at 7 a.m. Thursday, June 6, at Stryker Golf course parking lot outside of the Bragg Blvd. The media convoy will depart no later than 7:30 a.m.
