MEDIA ADVISORY: USASOAC change of command
FORT BRAGG, N.C. (USASOC News Service, June 3, 2014) – The U.S. Army Special Operations Aviation Command will hold a change of command ceremony June 10, 2014, at 9 a.m. on Meadows Parade Field at the U.S. Army Special Operations Command headquarters.
Brig. Gen. Clayton M. Hutmacher will relinquish command to Brig. Gen. Erik C. Peterson in a traditional Army ceremony.
Peterson is taking command following an assignment as the deputy commanding general for support, 2nd Infantry Division.
Hutmacher has been the commander of USASOAC since June 2012 and will move on to become the deputy commanding general for Support, 2nd Infantry Division.
Host for the ceremony is Lt. Gen. Charles T. Cleveland, commanding general of the U.S. Army Special Operations Command.

Media should meet representatives from the USASOAC Public Affairs office at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, at the old shoppette parking lot outside of the Yadkin Road gate. The media convoy will depart no later than 8 a.m.
