PRESS RELEASE: SOF Soldiers involved in training accident

160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) Public Affairs

FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (USASOC News Service, Jan. 16, 2014) - One Night Stalker was killed and two others were injured when a MH-60 Blackhawk sustained a hard landing while conducting training on Hunter Army Airfield. The injured have been taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Identification of the deceased will be released pending notification of the next of kin.

The area has been secured and emergency personnel are on the scene. An investigation into the incident is currently underway.  Additional details will be available at a later time.
