Maj. Gen. Edward M. Reeder, Jr., Commanding GeneralMaj. Gen. Edward M. Reeder, Jr. was commissioned in the Infantry through the Appalachian State University ROTC program in 1982. He earned a master of science in administration from Central Michigan University and a Master of Science degree in national security strategy from the U.S. National War College. His military education includes the Infantry Officer's Basic and Advanced Courses, Airborne, Ranger, Special Forces Qualification Course, the Defense Language Institute, the U.S. Command and General Staff College and the U.S. National War College.

Col. Ferdinand Irizarry II, Deputy Commanding GeneralBrig. Gen. Ferdinand Irizarry II is the deputy commanding general of the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School (SWCS) based at Fort Bragg, N.C. Prior to his current assignment, he was the Chief, Stability Operations, International Security Assistance Force-Joint Command (Afghanistan). Irizarry was born and raised in New York. He was commissioned from Johns Hopkins University as an Infantry officer in 1981 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

Command Sgt. Maj. Ledford Stigall, Command Sergeant MajorCommand Sgt. Maj. Ledford “JR” Stigall is a native of Williamson, Ky., and was born on May 26, 1964. He enlisted in the Army on Nov. 21, 1981, and attended Infantry One Station Unit Training and Airborne School at Fort Benning, Ga .In Stigall’s 29 years of service, he has served in leadership positions from fire team leader to group command sergeant major in both Infantry and Special Forces units. His first unit of assignment was the 1st Battalion (Ranger), 75th Infantry at Hunter Army Airfield, Ga., where he served as a machine gunner, fire team leader and squad leader.
