Brigadier General William B. Mason IIIBrigadier General William B. Mason III is the Deputy Commanding Officer of the U.S. Army Special Operations Center of Excellence and Director, Institute for Military Support to Governance.
Brigadier General Mason served as the Chief of Civil Military Operations for Third Army/USARCENT and as a functional specialty team chief in the 352nd Civil Affairs Command at Fort Meade, Maryland. His most recent assignment was the Commander, 350th Civil Affairs Command, in Pensacola, Florida.

CW5 Richard R. Kunz CW5 Richard R. Kunz is the Command Chief Warrant Officer of the U.S. Army Special Operations Center of Excellence.
CW5 Kunz enlisted in the Army in 1982. CW5 Kunz joined Special Forces, completing the Special Forces Communications Sergeant Qualification Course in 1986 and was subsequently assigned to 1st Battalion, 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne), Okinawa, Japan. He was appointed as a Special Forces Warrant Officer in 1995, and began his warrant career serving as an assistant detachment commander in the 1st SFG(A) at Fort Lewis, Wash.

of the U.S. Army Special Operations Center of Excellence.
Command Sgt. Maj. Frank Gilliand was born on June 5, 1963 in Helmstedt, Germany. He reported to Basic Training at Fort Knox, Ky., in March 1982 with later attendance at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, for Advanced Individual Training. Command Sgt. Maj. Gilliand attended the Special Forces Medical Sergeant Qualification Course in 1985.
